Delhi Township Hero Run

WIELAND was honored to join the Delhi Township Fire Department, Ingham County Sheriff’s Office, and American Legion Post 238 in supporting the 13th Annual Hero Run – an event dedicated to remembering the victims of 9/11.

The evening began with a powerful Remembrance Presentation from Fire Chief Brian Ball and concluded with a race ending at Holt’s 9/11 Memorial. Proceeds from the event benefit two impactful causes: Fisher House, which provides housing for military families while their loved ones receive hospital care; and Crime Stoppers, which helps communities prevent and solve crime through anonymous tips.

While the night served as a solemn remembrance of the 9/11 victims and the sacrifices of first responders, it was also a celebration of the everyday heroes – first responders and veterans – who continue to protect and serve our nation.
