Why WIELAND? Jerry Risch has been a Project Superintendent at WIELAND since 1992. When asked what he likes about his job, Jerry shared this: “I am so thankful for the Wielands believing in me so many years ago. They saw something in me that I didn’t see in myself. Construction has always been part of my life. My grandpa, whom I never met, was a builder; my dad was an equipment operator; my brother is a builder; and I worked for residential builders during and after high school. Tools, working with my hands, and seeing nothing turn into something pretty spectacular have always been a joy to me. I still really enjoy going to work every day and seeing an empty field turn into Calvary Baptist Church, Shaheen Chevrolet, Dicastal, or Greenstone; the list goes on and on.
