Volaris is an apartment complex constructed on the former site of the Clarion Hotel, serving as a model of adaptive reuse apartment construction. The complex is conveniently located less than a mile from the new McLaren Greater Lansing hospital, and less than ten minutes from Michigan State’s campus. Due to its proximity, Volaris attracts medical professionals and students to its community.
The four-story multi-family buildings have 289 units and were designed by Phillips Partnership, an Atlanta-based architect. The complex spans just over 9-acres and offers a variety of both indoor and outdoor amenities such as 24-hour entertainment lounge and gym, outdoor pool, enclosed dog park, grilling stations, and garage parking.
The project began in December 2018 and was completed by WIELAND in summer 2020.
