Brick Row Grand Opening

A busy corridor reimagined. A history revived. A grand opening, bringing life back to Lansing’s stadium district.

For 120 years, Brick Row has stood at the corner of East Michigan and Larch. It’s been a place for convenience and retail, a shelter for the unhoused, and now, a bustling mix of homes and storefronts. Its name comes from the six historic brick buildings that have held that corner since the turn of the 20th century.

With Gillespie Group’s vision and WIELAND’s expertise, those six buildings are now one flowing space: 15 new studio and one-bedroom units, plus six ground-level suites ready to draw restaurants, retailers, and local businesses back to the corridor.

The theme of the Grand Opening? Belief. Belief in the state and local leaders who made the project possible. Belief in the local boards who made it financially possible. Belief in the contractors who brought it to life. And a belief that when we come together, Lansing thrives.

120 years of history. One new beginning. Happy grand opening, Brick Row!
