Detroit Manufacturing Systems (DMS)

WIELAND is excited about the progress taking place at the Detroit Manufacturing Systems (DMS) site in Detroit, MI. DMS is on the original site of the old Detroit Massey Ferguson Tractor factory. Phase I of this project included extensive demolition, renovations, and improvements to an existing 480,000 SF building. Phase II, now underway, is a new 425,000 SF spec building for the current landlord, which could accommodate up to 10 different tenants. Five underground waste water retention ponds will free up valuable space for the new building, which is scheduled for completion in Q1 of 2023.
