Military Affairs Council – Balloon Glow

WIELAND was proud to support a special evening honoring the military community at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier Parish, LA. John Person, WIELAND’s Business Development Manager and Vice President of the Shreveport Bossier Military Affairs Council, played a key role in planning and hosting the inaugural Balloon Glow.

The event included free tethered balloon rides, concessions, and a late-night showing of Disney’s UP, bringing the community together to celebrate those who have served and those currently serving. More than 1,500 servicemen and women and their families attended – highlighting the powerful impact WIELAND employees can have when they invest in their communities.
