Performance Proppants Groundbreak

On May 11, WIELAND was honored to take part in the groundbreaking ceremony for Performance Proppants’ latest facility in Louisiana. The project, referred to as Sunny Point Aggregates, is located on a 43-acre site at The Port of Caddo-Bossier (LA). Performance Proppants will extract and refine sand and silt, which supplies the gas-exploration industry with much-needed raw materials to keep America energy-independent. This will be WIELAND’s sixth project for Performance Proppants, and upon completion, the facility will create 40 new jobs. WIELAND has built numerous projects at The Port, including its ongoing warehouse project for Ternium Steel.
