Teal-Jones Sawmill

WIELAND was thrilled to participate in the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Teal-Jones Sawmill project in Plain Dealing, LA, on July 11. Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards flew in by helicopter and addressed a crowd of over 200 people, along with owners Tom and Dick Jones and numerous other municipal officials. WIELAND will serve as the construction manager for the project, which is a $110M investment. Teal-Jones Group is based in British Columbia and has numerous locations in the United States. The new facility will be on a 235-acre site and will add 120 jobs to Bossier Parish.
