The People’s Church – Grand Reopening

At the heart of every WIELAND project is a commitment to bringing people together – and there’s no better way to support a community than to celebrate a reopening. On January 11, WIELAND joined The People’s Church, founded in 1907 and housed in its current building, constructed in 1923, to celebrate the reopening of the lower-level social hall.

Designed as a versatile gathering space, the social hall supports youth activities, music and theatre performances, and community events. The space features a stage, a kitchenette, flexible seating, and a distinctive labyrinth floor pattern that connects the Church’s history with its future.

Church members, The People’s Church board, design partner Elevate Studio, and WIELAND came together to mark the completion of nearly a year of construction. WIELAND is proud to help welcome members back to this renewed space.
